I hired Chef Anthony to cook a surprise birthday dinner for my wife, and somehow the man pulled it off without her marching downstairs like a bloodhound on the scent of free food. The aroma alone should have triggered a neighborhood alert.
I’m not exactly Event Planner of the Year, but Anthony made the whole thing stupidly easy. Almost everything happened over text. He suggested the little finishing touches I never would’ve thought of, was completely upfront on pricing, and stuck to the budget like it owed him money. Zero stress. Which, for me, is a medical miracle.

Then the food arrived and quietly destroyed every future restaurant experience.

The salad was so good it had the hardcore carnivores at the table staring into the middle distance, rethinking their entire personality. Surf and turf was next: steaks that made grown adults go quiet in a way that felt slightly religious, and grouper with a mango sauce so addictive I’m pretty sure someone licked the plate when no one was looking. The lobster mac? That stuff doesn’t belong in a private home. It belongs in a restaurant with a two-month waitlist and a velvet rope. And for dessert he brought local cake, cookies, and cupcakes that vanished faster than my willpower.

To top it all off, he showed up with balloons and flowers… and then casually started taking photos like he was on assignment for a food magazine. Who knew we had both a professional chef and a professional photographer in the same guy? The man can sear a steak and frame a shot. Unfair talent distribution, if you ask me.

Best gift I’ve given in years. If you’re anywhere near Navarre Beach and want to look like a genius without doing any actual work, call Chef Anthony. Just don’t come crying to me when your standards for “dinner” are permanently ruined and your kids start side-eyeing chicken nuggets.

From start to finish, everything was exceptional. He was incredibly detailed, organized, and professional, which made the entire process stress-free and enjoyable.

The food itself was outstanding. My family comes from New England so the NE clam chowder surpassed everyone’s expectations. It was the perfect balance of clams, potatoes and the thickness was spot on, the prime rib was cooked perfectly and packed with flavor, the mashed potatoes were creamy and delicious, the brussel sprouts were beautifully prepared with bacon which is a must in our family, and the smoked apple pie was a standout—such a unique and memorable way to end the meal.

Beyond the incredible food, Chef Anthony made the entire evening feel easy and special. Our family was genuinely impressed. We are so grateful for the care, skill, and professionalism he brought to our holiday celebration and would highly recommend him to anyone looking for an unforgettable meal.

I mixed it in with some regular BBQ sauce on some pulled pork and it MADE the dish. The spice is not overpowering. Will definitely look to buy more.
